SHHS Senior in the Spotlight #1
Our first senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Devany Salas. Devany is the daughter of Ricardo and Perla Salas and the late Dora Alicia Salas. Devany is active at SHHS serving as National Honor Society President, Student Body President, Science Club Vice President, and Spanish Club Vice President. She is also active in SADD Club, Pep Club, Drama Club, FTA, Quiz Bowl, and Choir. She has been a cheerleader for three years of her high school career. Devany's favorite class in high school was Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus. Devany has plans to attend University of Missouri in the fall (Pre-Med) as a part of Mizzou's Honors Program double majoring in Biochemistry and Spanish. Please congratulate Devany when you see her! Our second senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Hanna Carter. Hanna is the daughter of Brandon and Stella Carter and Kandace and Aaron Bearden. Hanna is active at SHHS in Pep Club, serving as President; FCCLA, serving as Vice President, Art Club; SADD Club; FBLA; FTA; Science Club; Spanish Club; Writers Club; and Student Government, serving as Social Commissioner. She is also a member of the Yearbook Staff, the softball team, and the cheerleading squad. Hanna's favorite class is Health Occupation at Kennett Career and Technical Center. Hanna has plans to attend Arkansas Northeastern College in the fall to major in Nursing. Hanna plans to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant until she earns her RN license. Our third senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Cassidy Winberry. Cassidy is the daughter of Stephanie Hopper and the granddaughter of Kathy Jacobs. Cassidy is active at SHHS in Pep Club, SADD Club, Spanish Club, Writers Club, Art Club, FFA, Drama Club, Student Government, and National Honor Society. Cassidy currently serves as her class Secretary, FBLA President, and editor of the Yearbook Staff. Cassidy is a cheerleader and was captain one year and played softball for one year. She was the 2020 Homecoming Queen. Cassidy's favorite class is Psychology. Cassidy has plans to attend Arkansas Northeastern College in the fall to major in Nursing. Our fourth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Braedan Noblin. Braedan is the son of Tim and Bobbie Jo Noblin. Braedan is active at SHHS on both the basketball and baseball teams. He is also in the Law Enforcement Program at Kennett Career and Technology Center. Braedan's favorite class at SHHS is Weightlifting. Braedan has plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and major in Criminal Justice. He is very excited for graduation! Our fifth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Hannah Johnson. Hannah is the daughter of Wayne and Elisa Johnson. Hannah is active at SHHS serving as SADD Club President and FBLA Vice President. She is also involved in FTA, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Science Club, Pep Club, Student Government, and Choir. She cheered two years and has played volleyball, softball, and basketball for four years. Hannah's favorite class at Senath-Hornersville High is Psychology. Hannah has plans to attend Arkansas Northeastern College to major in Nursing. She would like to further her education and become an OB-GYN. She also plans to obtain her CNA license over the summer and work in the office at ANC through college. Please congratulate Hannah. We are so proud of you!

Our seventh senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Tera Bird. Tera is the daughter of Lisa and Chuck Holtsclaw. Tera is active at SHHS; she has been involved in FCCLA, SADD Club, Pep Club, and Kindness Club. She has been on the SHHS volleyball team all four years. Tera was a senior class maid in Homecoming 2020. Tera's favorite class is her FTA hour. Tera has plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University and major in Psychology. Our ninth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Olivia Bolton. Olivia is the daughter of Corey and Tara Bolton. Olivia is active at SHHS in National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Art Club, Science Club, FTA, and Drama Club. Olivia's favorite classes at SHHS are English and Art. Olivia has plans to attend the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy in June at Higginbotham Family Dental to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Stephanie is active at SHHS in Pep Club (Treasurer), National Honor Society (Secretary), Science Club (Social Media), Drama Club, FCCLA, FTA, SADD Club, Spanish Club, and Science Club. Stephanie is the senior class President. Her favorite class at SHHS is Yearbook. Our thirteenth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Tyler Kellums. Tyler is the son of Debbie Kellums and Terry Kellums. Tyler is active at SHHS in the FFA, FTA, and Student Government. Tyler was also on the baseball team for two years. His favorite class at SHHS was World History with Mr. Horton. Tyler has accepted a job with Schell Farms. He has always enjoyed farming and plans to make a career of it. Please congratulate Tyler when you see him. We are so proud of you! Our fifteenth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Leah Ruiz. Leah is the daughter of Gilberto and Rosalinda Ruiz. Leah is active at SHHS in FCCLA, FTA, Student Government, Spanish Club and Pep Club. Her favorite classes at SHHS are Anatomy and Clothing.
Leah has plans to attend Arkansas Northeastern College to concentrate in Phlebotomy and earn her CNA license.

Our seventeenth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Virginia Starr. Virginia is the daughter of Tara Dogan. Virginia was active at SHHS in National Honor Society, FBLA, FCCLA, FTA, Student Government, Kindness Club (President), Spanish Club, Pep Club, Science Club, and SADD Club. She was also a member of the SHHS Cheer Squad. Her favorite classes at SHHS were Criminology and Psychology.
Virginia plans to attend Arthur's Beauty College in Jonesboro, Arkansas to earn her cosmetology license. After completing her cosmetology license, she plans to get her business degree and open her own salon and boutique.

Our nineteenth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Diana Ramos. Diana is the daughter of Felipe and Maria Ramos.
Diana is attending the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy in July. She also has plans to attend Three Rivers College to become a Crime Scene Detective to help those with missing family members get justice for their family.

Our twenty-first senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Cameron Karnes. Cameron is the son of Leah Jackson and Tommy Karnes. Cameron's favorite classes at SHHS were History and Science courses. He loves to share his extensive knowledge of historical facts and events with others. More of Cameron's interests include geography and computer sciences.
Cameron plans to enter the workforce while he also attends Three Rivers College in the fall.

Our sixth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Kendra Franco. Kendra is the daughter of Stacy St. John and Jesus Franco. Kendra is active at SHHS; she is involved in Student Government, Drama Club, FTA, FCCLA, and SADD Club. Kendra serves as Treasurer for the Class of 2020 and President of the Art Club. Kendra is currently excelling in the Welding Program at Kennett Career and Technology Center; she was selected to work as a welder at ARI/Greenbrier. Kendra's favorite classes are English and Welding. Kendra has plans to work at ARI/Greenbrier and attend an accelerated Dental Assistant program. Please congratulate Kendra. We are so proud of you!

Our twelfth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Holly Ann Malone. Holly is the daughter of Bill and Kim Malone. Holly is active at SHHS in the National Honor Society and Graphic Communications at Kennett Career and Technology Center. She loves her job at Subway, but also enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, and watching Netflix. Her favorite classes at SHHS are due to having such amazing teachers like Ms. Crossno, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Buchanan. Holly has plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University - Kennett in the fall to major in Exceptional Child with a certificate in Early Childhood Education. Holly says becoming an SHHS Lion was the absolute best decision she could have made thanks to the amazing staff who want to see all of the students succeed and push them to reach their full potential each day. Our fourteenth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Aubry Jones. Aubry is the daughter of Scott and Andrea Jones. Aubry is active at SHHS in Pep Club, SADD Club, Spanish Club, Science Club, Art Club, FCCLA, and FTA. She is a four-year member of the basketball and volleyball teams and played softball for three years. Her favorite class is Health Occupations at Kennett Career and Technology Center.
Aubry has plans to attend Arkansas Northeastern College to become an EMT and Paramedic. She then plans to further her career by earning her Flight Medic licensure.

Our sixteenth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Ezequiel Meza. Zeke is the son of Ezequiel Meza Lugo and Olga Moncada. Zeke is active at SHHS in Student Government, SADD Club (Vice President), Pep Club (Vice President), Spanish Club (Secretary), Science Club, Art Club, FFA, FTA, FCCLA, Yearbook Staff, and the Softball Field Crew. He was the school mascot for three years. Zeke serves as Senior Class Vice President. He was voted Class Favorite and Most Likely to Become Tik Tok Famous. His favorite class at SHHS was Geometry.
Zeke has plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and major in Pre-Dentistry.

Our eighteenth senior in the Class of 2020 to finalize post graduation plans is Alexis McGruder. Alexis is the daughter of Mark McGruder. Alexis was active at SHHS in Science Club. Alexis' hobbies include painting, drawing, taking pictures, putting together puzzles, and volunteering at the Blytheville food pantry. Alexis played softball and volleyball during her high school career. Her favorite classes at SHHS were Novels and Art.
Alexis has plans to join the United States Marines in the near future. Alexis says that while she isn't sure what exactly she wants to do for her future career, she knows whatever it will be, will be great!

Carson has plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University in Kennett this fall and major in Business with a minor in Political Science.
